Eleanor
Designer: Eleanor McLucas
“Eleanor is known for combining aspects of traditional men’s daywear into modernized womenswear that maintains a retro essence heavily inspired by the 1980’s. It is meant to provoke feelings of nostalgia and a desire to connect that feeling of longing to your present story. These looks are the search for balance between opposing feelings of love and loss, joy and despair during pivotal points in a persons life

Frey’s Crochet
Designer: Freyda James
Freyda James is a crochet artist with a passion for the unusual. While most items Freyda makes are sea creatures (what's more unusual than the ocean?) They aspire to step outside their comfort zone, and create interesting slow fashion peices. The peice featured in the show is one made of hand dyed merino wool, and entirely free handed, meaning no pattern was used. As the dye used for the yarn was inspired by a head of garlic (something this creator is allergic to) so to was the shape.

Jamie Rosario
Jamie Rosario is a Toronto-based designer and silversmith specializing in one-of-a-kind forged wire statement pieces that capture the ever-changing compositions of leaves and branches. Much of her ideas are formed through interaction with nature, interpreting sound, touch, movement, and shadows experienced among trees and plants as being meditative and calming. Her conceptual work is based on the Buddhist philosophy of Indra’s Net – a metaphor for the spiritual interconnection of all living things. Contemplative processes of forging, braiding, binding and crocheting in metal and fibre produce poetic representations of plants and trees that envelop the body, endeavouring to intertwine it with nature.
Jamie is a graduate from OCAD University with a Bachelor of Design from the Material Art & Design Program. Exhibiting at OCAD U’s GradEx 109, she received the Lily Young Memorial Award for strong experimental and conceptual components to thesis work. Her jewellery has also been featured in Craft Council of BC’s 2023 earring show.

LINE Bags
Woman-owned and committed to reimagining waste, LI/NE collects, cleans and repurposes old sails into beautiful, durable, one-of-a-kind bags. Each bag is skillfully handcrafted in small batches in Toronto.
LI/NE is a mother-daughter team based in Toronto/Mississauaga that has combined our love of sustainability, design and making beautiful things to create LI/NE. Fun fact: LI/NE is a combo of our nicknames: Lily (Lilliana) and Neli (Anela).
WHAT DOES SUSTAINABILITY MEAN TO US?
“For us as a business it means challenging common tropes and
misgivings about waste. By turning retired, used sails into coveted,
stylish pieces we show how an item destined for the landfill can be
transformed into something valuable, functional, and quite beautiful. As such, our bags are not just accessories, but a testament to resilience, reinvention—and potential.
